Added 2025-09-04 15:36:05 +0000 UTCWhile working in the scene I couldn't stop thinking about the things other authors do that I really, really don't like, like the dialogues that are just moans/onomatopoeia spams, or making the screen flash when a character experience an orgasm.
But at the same time, there aren't many things to write about, specially if one of the characters is silent...

What's new in v0.5.4?
Juniper new scene, sprinkled with some lore.
Now what?
With 0.5.4 all the content I wanted to add before the next main story beat has been added (with the exception of the Sayoko scene, that I now want to add in it's own big update).
So right now I find myself in a somewhat bizarre situation, I want to bring the new big update soon, but since I want it to come with a full visual overhaul it will take a while to come...
Right now I'm not sure if to delay the HD overhaul and just work on the story, or to stick with it...
Either way, I have to think of something to put on the small updates for the next few months while I work on the big stuff, I have some things in mind, but I'll dabble on them later.
What else...
About the itchio, while in the public mind the censorship situation might have died out, in reality everything is still working in thin ice, I'll look into changing the game page to see if I can make it visible again.
I also wanted to have stuff to post on social media to not be depend in itchio visibility, but I did nothing at the end due to some IRL side quests, but I'll probably look back into the idea.
I think there's nothing more to say...
I wanted to post this before Silksong's launch but I'm like 2 hours late...
Well, the download link wont go away, so check the update when you take a break after dying to some hard boss or platform section (I still have nightmares of the white palace).
And no spoilers, I want a blind playthrough.

Thanks for the update. Depends on how much of the main story is ready for the big update. I'd say if mostly ready then keep working on the HD overhaul. If not then focus on the main story and maybe work on the HD overhaul little by little. That's just my two cents.
