New engine?
Added 2025-08-13 10:59:21 +0000 UTCI’ve been getting a bit frustrated with QSP’s limitation with video - most of the time the videos I try to use have to be compressed so far they pixelate and turn unusable.
Thinking of jumping over to twine/sugar cube instead but would require starting over from the ground up.
What do you all think? Stick with QSP or try for something new?

My vote for twine is simply because that would let me play on my phone and steamdeck easily but I'm fine with either engine as long as it's a choice you're comfortable with.

2025-08-14 19:20:32 +0000 UTCit only ever really loads one single image or video at a time, but if you're talking about it remembering history I believe that's configurable and I can remove the 'go back' option

2025-08-13 20:38:56 +0000 UTCI think whatever makes you most comfortable to work with and expand with. But with all the images and movies you are using wouldn't' it make Twine or sugar cube super slow after a few turns? Would you need to change the art as well?
