Development Update #35

Hello! This update mostly consists of a short gameplay video. A lot of work is being done right now on importing all the cars, so I need to get back to doing that.

S15 handles well, new handling is snappier loss of grip and much more acceleration when traction is lost. It's much easier and very satisfying to chain drifts between hairpins.

Screen shake on impact has replaced all VHS impact effects the prologue had. They had a charm to them but were mostly annoying. The final version of this will have some visual effects along with the screenshake but that might come post-release, for now it's just screenshake.

All new music has been imported, the list of new songs is listed here below.

Speed music fade needs a little more tweaking but has been changed to fit the lower-speed touge environment.

90% of wheels have been imported, the rest needed some fixes. Current count is 300, final count will be very close to 400.

A few new crew character models have been made, total new crews which have modeled characters is 5. A femme character model has been made as well.

Photomode wheel blur models have been improved a lot, they look much better now.

• Importing of new Cars for AI (in progress, all JZX100s have been imported. JZX90 next)

• New Crews (Needs new AI cars and dialogue)

Testing can still start next month but it's important for testing to start before the LATEST the first week or so of December for release to be on target. Work is full crunch to make it happen, but if we run into any unexpected challenges the timeline will change. We are in the final stretch for the Private Alpha, so any timeline changes will be a matter of weeks.
