Hi everyone, this update contains lots of in-game screenshots. I will explain each one in the text here.

Image 1 is a in-game photomode shot whilst parked up at the LTJMart during freeroam.

Image 2 shows the new ability to open doors and hood inside the garage freeroam and the new SR20DET model. This screenshot is raw from in-game photomode.

Image 3 shows the new part unlock system. This system will effect different part tiers, so for example you will unlock all Circuit Hoods then all Prototype Hoods. Stock and Street parts do not have to be unlocked. Unlocks will be triggered by gaining rep and will be received after a race win.

Image 4 shows the new engine parts; coil pack covers, oil filler caps and front strut bars. These are purely visual.

Images 5-7 are the improved main garage car menu; you can select straight to buying parts with a much more understandable menu (image 5). Image 7 shows the new way of entering the old walk around and remove parts mode. Image 6 shows the new stance menu which jumps to an adjustment menu.

Images 9-11 is the new gas station refill menu. You drive up, pick your fuel type (high quality and cheaper than express refill) and then hold down the refill button to pour gas into your car.

This is different from the "mini-meetspots" gas stations were going to be. It was changed since there would have to be a loading screen to refill gas/walk around the mini-meetspot. It's very quick and seamless as it currently is.

Images 12-14 show the new taillight realtime lighting, you can see it on the road, spoiler and rear bumper. This is only active on the highest lighting settings.

Image 15 shows the new interior lighting and new improved interior texture quality.

Image 16 is the new starter garage from the outside and shows the new GPS map.

Image 17 are characters for a new crew. They are much higher quality but are based on the same proportions as the Prologue characters.

The next images shows all the new aftermarket seat models! Not all models will be available for every car depending on the type of the car but most will be available.

After the seats, theres some generic interior accessories. Including D.A.D tables, fireball USA light, tsurikawa, TS-X8 and Kenwood Bass Reactor.

Then, a small look at the new steering wheels being made currently.

A lot of work was done on improving the racer AI and they will now overtake the player correctly instead of ramming into the player or being stuck behind them. They will pick the best area of the road to overtake and drive around the player seamlessly. It greatly improves the quality of AI races.

Work that remains, in order of priority;

Importing of new Cars for AI
Import and rig new wheels
New Crews (Needs new AI cars and dialogue)
More race routes
Private Alpha scripted intro
Import other new garages
Many small fixes

We are still on schedule to start testing later this month. Although private testing will start without some of the visual changes planned for things like the game intro cutscene.
