Dev Update! 4/24

Hey, friends! Happy Monday, it's time for another dev update!

First of all, big-big thanks and welcome to all the new subscribers, as well as people following the page. Happy to have you folks here! The support for the new update's absolutely blown me away, and has really filled me with fresh enthusiasm for development of the game.

On that note, I'm officially rolling through the rendering process for the next installment. At present, I've got 50+ images completed for Viola's event, which is roughly half of the first 'act' of the next installment. So, so far so good! By the end of this week I plan to be well into rendering Ashe's date at MC's condo.

On the writing end of things, I'm continuing to flesh out Ashe's date, combining some of the disparate pieces of it together into one cogent whole. Still a little work to do on that end, but as long as I can stay ahead of the speed I'm rendering at, I should be all set.

Other cool stuff: BlackhandGames, the creator of Detective Necro, has kindly sent me the code they use for named saves, and given me their permission to use it in FiN. So, I'll be working on getting that integrated into the game ASAP. It's been a much-requested feature for a while now. Go give Blackhand some love and download Detective Necro. I'll admit I haven't had time to play it lately, but I loved what I saw from the early chapters. It's basically a world where mythic creatures and magic survived into the modern day -- and then get freaky with you!

I mean, beefy orc ladies! Sexy dark elves! What's not to love?

Also, a fan built a demo of something really cool, that I look forward to experimenting with. Basically it's a gallery and character profile system, allowing you to easily reference where you stand with each girl, as well as replay some of their naughty scenes. I haven't actually gotten to play with it yet, but the screens he sent me look very promising.

I don't know how quickly I'll be able to implement it, as I'd want to make sure it's visually consistent with the rest of FiN's GUI, but I think if I can get it in there it'll be really awesome.

Man, I really have the best players. You folks rock!

Oh! And one last bit of news - I've started a SubscribeStar, but it's currently pretty barebones, so I won't link to it at this time. But, I'll be putting the public update over there this weekend, and begin regularly updating it at the same time as the Patreon here. And once I've finished redoing Chapter One, and cleaning up all the code, I still plan to launch an Itchio.

Technically I kind of screwed up, and should’ve said it releases on Wednesday.. But, I’m going to release it around noon CST today! About four hours from now.

Should not today the 2$ Patreons get the Update?
