Better Safe Than Sorry

Best on a Reddit story! (Credit in the first image)

Edit: I messed up and posted to wrong version without credit! It’s this post: https://www.reddit.com/r/TwoSentenceHorror/comments/xul10t/standing_on_a_roof_with_a_knife_in_my_hand_wanted/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=iossmf

Poor fluff babies :~(

Ol' Monster-Face

This was the comic that first got me hooked. Two years later and I finally subscribed. Worth it!

Trevor Patton

Patient Zero. 🥺

Sally

Lawl, anthrocentric. It's millions of birds she kills (based on the Reddit horror story).

Janna Kepley

She got ill with something they cannot diagnose. The birds feed off her body, making them carriers of her illness. The birds transmit to humans. The fortune teller's prophecy came true, because she killed herself in an attempt to stop the fortune tellers words from coming true.

Probably Not Mothman

Thank you!!!! I was just staring at it, thinking a panel was missing or I was just stupid or something….

Rhonda

Actually, uh. Thats not the authors story bit. That's a commentor. Fable here was right.

No, if you read the full story she would’ve gone on to develop cures for diseases had she lived.

Brennah DeCamillis

Agree! The color palette on this one is really nice to look at.

Corvid-22

Those birds are now carriers of whatever she has

Fable

I don’t get it. What’s happening at the end?

:/ The newest one with the 18+ gate on it isn't letting me access it for some reason. I click the consent button and it does a brief thinking and just jumps back to the consent button.

If Typhoid Mary was actually remorseful.

Couldn’t have put it better

Bruna Xavier

I love this but pls make a version with the family guy death pose

Covid 22

mungbean

I thought at first they were gonna land in a body of water. This is more subtle, but just as horrifying!

Grace 'Gengar' Soria

Reading the story on reddit, and the comment that was updated with your comic link. Took me a moment to realize but it was mindblowing. How beliefs can change our paths, The realization that someone can feel insignificant or that the world would be better off without them yet to the world they could have played a major role. Wonderful comic as always.

Starlight Nessie

Wow… 😳

Mariel Figueroa Lopez

Can we talk about this artwork tho. Love the sky and dusk shading.

Gregory Storkan

Ah yes, the irony of fortune tellers. Making their prophecies truth by telling them.
