All I know is who i'm NOT suspicious of right now: Cora, Gideon and Lance. Cora because even though she is running that jewel scam, she's still working on new projects left and right. Lance beacuse he's a dumbass, if he were the killer he would have just stabbed her and be done with it. Lastly, Gideon IS a bit sus, since he might be Priscilla's lover (like the others said), but I doubt he'd kill Alma: it doesn't benefit him, and he might even have an alibi for the day of the murder.

I think Gideon has the least motive of all. Sure, he's angry over being let go, but he doesn't really have anything to gain from her death...unless someone promised him a cut of the will if he grew the nightshade and helped poison her.

There are too many solid motives to eliminate anyone, so I’m going to take the “family plot” part literally and assume it was a large group effort. Further theory, Alma isn’t dead and is also in on it, and this is all, somehow, a trap for our heroes. Revenge plot maybe? Ciseaux looks like they could be a Bettencourt. 🤔
