Here are a few designs for background characters living in Oddwind ;)
Which one is your favorite and how would you name them?

The top-left I name Reggie. The bottom-left I name Sarasin. The left one with the circles around his eyes I name Clyde. The top-middle with the spots I name Bailey. The spaniel I name Pixie. The middle beagle-mix (I think) I name Madeline. The top-right is Jackson. And the fluff ball in the bottom-right is Bernie.

2025-01-20 19:39:11 +0000 UTCYou are the BEST at drawing different dog breeds!! 💖 Ever since the first time I flipped through Cowdogs, I've been so impressed by how well you can draw them AND make them recognizable as what they are! Hmm, names... The girl dog near the bottom with bows, I think Dolly would be a good name for her. I think "Ruff" or "Ralph" would be good for the sheepdog in the bottom right. The hound in the middle strikes me as a "Molly" or maybe a "Millie". Those are just a few suggestions off the top of my head. I really like the names that others here have come up with :) I agree with TheArcherDragon that the boxer definitely looks like a Gus.

He seems like an enduring teddy bear, but it’s be hilarious if he had a secret temper that erupts at times! Cairn Terrier: Jiminy! He looks like one of those NPCs that gives you your first side quest in a town 🤪 Shepherd Mutt: Tyler! Looks like a teenage heartthrob who rivals Faye in the amount of lovers he gets! Boxer: Gus. Gives bakery assistant vibes English Setter w/ Scar: Skylar! She is my personal fav of the bunch; I wonder how she got that scar? 🤔 She gives big sis vibes and could probably be a good friend of Marsha. Dog w/ Bows + Whippet: Veronica and Theia. They remind me of Jenna’s gossipy friends from Balto! Sad Dog in the Middle: Harriet. Have many of her loved ones disappeared? She seems pretty glum. Well, there you go! Hope you enjoy! 😁

And the one that looks like a Sheepdog could be a Murray! 🥰 Awesome designs Skailla! I'm looking forward to seeing them in No North! 💖🫶

This was the first notification I saw when I woke up, a post from you is the best thing to wake up to, I hope you’re having a good day aswell. It always amazes me how much detail, expression and variety you put into your characters, your designs are so clever! I really like that one with the spots and the gray ears, I believe she’s my favorite, she’s so pretty, I love her design! Maybe Elodie or Audra (Audra is Thunder in old English, which also seems like a good name for that coonhound)! Also, for the brown greyhound- borzoi, I think they could be named Antonio. I love the sheepdog, I have a black and white scruffy mutt like that named Otis; the brown-faced dog with the rings around his eye looks so sweet, my sister suggested the name Daxter. I think maybe Cooper, Charlie or Max. Love these dogs, they’re gorgeous! Also, Skai, some very important and exciting news: On the 24 of January (this month), which is only four days away at this point- we may or may not be getting a new Lord Huron album. It may not be an album, it may just be a song, or a music video, or some other Lord Huron announcement, but they’ve been teasing their new album for some time now, and definitely a new song in some of their latest posts. They posted that date on the end of their latest teaser, so fingers crossed!! I absolutely cannot wait, whatever it is, I’ve been listening to their albums on repeat and actually diving pretty deep into the lore, it’s pretty interesting! Ah, I’m counting down the days and the hours, all Lord Huron fans rejoice!! May you live until you die! P.S. Just curious, but did you name Vernon after Buck Vernon from LH’s lore?
