No North - Book 1 - Page 219

HEY GUYS! AAAH WE'RE ALMOST AT THE END OF BOOK 1 !!!!!!

It's been such a WILD ride, I can hardly believe it! God, 3 years in production.

But I feel like this last year was much more page-packed, wasn't it? We're getting better at making these faster, haha! 🔥 also, MODAY PAGES!

We only have 7 more pages to go now! :')

I had a lot of fun working on this one as well. I'm always driving @Kryatlicious nuts with my visions for scenes, but I'm always left stunned by how he manages to fulfill them ALL with his 3D wizard skills! The slight fisheye on the last panel was all on him, and I love how it turned out!

I would really love to hear your thoughts on this one!!! I'm always so so happy to read your comments! Thank you all for your support!

Woah, this is a stunningly gorgeous page Skailla! ✨ Love this aerial view of Oddwind at night, and the sky and mountains in the distance are so lovely! Love the warm lighting from the buildings too! This is just a beautiful scene! Poor Steban's mind is so burdened right now 🙁 Must be so tough for him to grapple with what he knows is coming. It's so hard to believe we're almost at the end of Book 1 now! It has indeed been quite a ride over these past three years. I can hardly believe it's been that long!

Absolutely love the scenery in this page the dusk setting and the night scenery. The buildings and the lights absolutely beautiful. 😍 Absolutely loved book 1! Looking forward to seeing the pages for book 2! Just out of curiosity is the pages for book 2 be posted after December this year?

If I understood correctly... It's on early stages... There is some things that may or may not endup in the final draft... IDK If any pages are done or if just on "planning phase"...

i LOVE the touch of only a few houses having their lights on and all the rest just being a stretch of dark emptiness — it really adds to the lonesome and mysterious vibe. the hollow idea that the residents of oddwind’s numbers are just dwindling. wonderful work!

Jaye Hammon

If you haven't already, when are you going to start working on book 2?

Shane Morris

Book one has been an amazing journey. Looking forward to reading the second

Hi. Remember me on Instagram? I'm surprised to find you here.

This is such a perfect page for many reasons. Although Steban’s melancholy is apparent, what’s so great here is the shot of Oddwind. Not only is it beautifully drawn, but the complete contrast between the dazzling lights in the foreground and misty background highlight perfectly the progress made and yet to be made. Oddwind has been made a little more bright and hopeful tonight, but there’s still a lot of work to be done to truly lift the curse. Great page Skailla 👍!

Beautiful backgrounds of odd wind nice

It's truelly been a ride... and I'm so hypet for book 2, I'm sure it will be as great maybe better ride than this has been... The slightly gloomy mood with Steban with all his fears is brilliant way to show for reader and characters that the future is uncertain and danger sure is not over yet

SilverTwistVI

I wonder what Steban is thinking and feeling about! Also, No North Book 1 has been amazing so far and I will continue to read all the upcoming books!
