HOWDY Y'ALL?
Aaah I'm so excited we finally got to this scene!
A cool trivia: this was the very first scene I thought of when I decided I needed to rewrite Up and Ahead back in 2016. I kind of focused on the feeling it gave me - two strangers riding on a cargo wagon, sharing a mixture of excitement over the unknown (Steban) and also a great discomfort over stepping over boundaries he never did before (Martin). And that child-like mischievousness and adventurousness that I wanted to capture from this scene kind of set the tone for a great part of the story. I even posted a sketch of this back in 2018, you can see it here!
It's such a joy to see it finally coming true! The soft drink they're about to enjoy is CoCassis, a back currant soda me and Kryat designed specially for this scene, hehe.
You can guess I'm very excited to hear your thoughts on this!! You guys are awesome and I can't thank you enough for giving me the chance of telling this story!

I have a grammar suggestion if you’re interested. For the last panel, replacing “sit” with “seat” would be a more common phrasing. Love the series so far!
