EY GUYS!

Here's day 8, a short animatic made for Long Lost by Lord Huron. This song is tied to my heart, so no way I could make only one illustration for this day!

Music speaks to us in such an intimate level. Whenever I hear a song I love somewhere unexpected, the feelings I related to it hit me before I can even remember the song's name. It's like a lost piece of myself just found its way back to me.

Lord Huron has always had this power. When I first found the band in 2012, it felt as if they "spoke" of all of my voiceless longings. Of all the lonely places of the earth and its mysteries, of the unknown and whatever lies beyond.

I'm an intense person with very specific tastes. That means I hardly ever find something to fall in love with (believe it or not, I'm worse than Martin irl). So I can't help myself from writing another love letter to this song. It truly means this much to me.
