So here's something a bit different for you!
Billy once helped save Baltazar's life when they were puppies. Baltazar was out looking for his parents alone when he slipped and fell into the Gold Marrow river (yes, it's a reference to Up and Ahead's town name!).
Billy heard him and rushed to help. The little hound always admired the noble families of Oddwind, so saving one of them was an honour to him. I don't think they ever saw each other much after that, until adulthood, when Billy moved out of his family's farm and into Oddwind. The rest is history!
I would absolutely LOVE to hear your thoughts on this! Its seriously what keeps me going!
