It's a far more civilised part of their country, as you’ll notice! Haha They have a police force and are way more advanced, while in Oddwind, Lester is the one responsible for keeping the order.

I thought the Sheriff-that is, Lester and his deputy-was the police. and now, it turns out, how? It turns out that the cops and Lester are completely different organizations or what?
