Hey guys!
How are you today?
So here's a little easter egg from No North! And also a homage to two of my favorite creators and entertainers.
I was 7-8 years old when I was first introduced to Charlie Chaplin's work. My mother bought us 4 of his movies and I would watch them non-stop. No need to say I became a huge fan of him, and he went on to influence so many of my own stories and characters.
I have a special love for silent storytelling and how much emotion it can evoque. And yes, I also have a soft spot for slapstick comedy, even when it's a bit silly, hehe
I got to know Buster Keaton's work later in life, but goodness I'm so happy I did. He's surely one of the most ingenious people to have ever lived. If you haven't seen it, check out some of his epic stunts!
No North actually happens in our equivalent of the 1920's, which would be at the same time these two were on full steam creating movies. Let's see if you can spot their poster around town when the comic starts!
It's so great to share things with you all. Do you enjoy silent movies?
I wish you all a wonderful day! Thank you so much for your epic support!!
