Here's the alternative version I told you about!
Featuring none other than Delilah, trapped in her beautiful garden. "Oh, but the gate is open"! Yes. Yes it is. *dramatic song starts playing* what good is an open gate for a trapped mind? No one can impose limits on us. We do this ourselves, and cease to see the way out.
Delilah loves her garden, though. I feel like I've been painting her looking melancholic too often, but then again, she does have moments like this almost everyday.
I had a lot of fun painting the roses in the gate.
