Personality: Curtis is an independent and mysterious cat. He comes and goes as he pleases, sometimes disappearing for weeks. He’s easy-going and cunning, and seems to have the right answers for everything. He has had his fair share of experiences in life, which made him wise and skeptical, capable of seeing clearly through others’ intentions. Despite preferring to keep his distance, Curtis cares about those who are part of his life and likes to share his wisdom with them. He can be fearless when a situation calls for it, but he usually avoids conflict with dogs for obvious reasons. Most dogs don’t accept his presence well, but he claims to feel more at home in Oddwind than he ever did anywhere else.

Background: Curtis hates dwelling on the past, never wanting to speak about it. He clearly went through some rough experiences, forever marked by his blind eye and deep scars. However, he stands by his decisions and is happy with where his life is now. He believes that where you truly belong is hardly ever where you were told you belonged. He met Delilah, one of his only friends, soon after she moved into Oddwind. He feels like she’s a lot like him when he was younger, and that makes him secretly worried. He feels how out of place she is, and hopes she’ll one day realize this as well.

Relations: no known blood relations. Delilah’s only friend. A good friend of Margaret.

Trivia:

- He loves abandoned places. Baltazar’s garden is so badly kept that Curtis can’t help himself but hang out there - and that’s how he met Delilah.

- He enjoys sleeping under Delilah’s easel while she’s painting.
