Personality: Edgar is a friendly and communicative local “weirdo”. He’s talkative, curious and always excited about novelty. His true passion, however, lies in biology and physics, and he’s eager to someday make a great contribution to these fields and help improve other dogs’ lives. Edgar enjoys creating all types of gadgets, then later presenting them to the skeptical dogs of Oddwind. He never really fit into the provincial lifestyle and feels like an outsider. He doesn’t have the guts to stand up to his father and risk becoming even more of a disappointment, but he dreams he’ll someday leave that town and finally embrace the life he always wanted.

Background: Edgar’s mother went missing when he was just a pup. Sam (his father) raised him the best he could, but as Edgar grew up, their interests and beliefs also grew apart. Sam could never understand his son’s obsession over his gadgets, and Edgar can’t stand his father’s superstitions. Sam’s only wish in life was for his son to assume the family’s hotel, which he built from the ground, but Edgar feels deeply trapped between pleasing his father and literally running away to pursue his calling.

Relations: Sam’s only son. Very close friends with Holly and feels like she’s the only dog in Oddwind who understands him. Is wary of Warren’s overly protective nature.
