BONUS/SNEAK-PEEK: JUMBO MUMBO- JUMBO (BLOCK 9)

Okay, we're back with a little more extra content, before the month wraps!

Unfortunately, on top of week 8 of an ongoing Gastrointestinal problem (still have to hoof it to the bathroom every hour or two, still just as disruptive to workflow), combining with me waking up yesterday covered in what sure look like bed bug bites, Batastrophe's next issue will end up a bit shorter than the previous ones. >.>

Hopefully it's nothing, but I did stay overnight at a hotel several weeks ago, and that's generally how long they can take to appear on the body; plus, I usually get flea infestations, and those are mainly the legs and calves, while this is the zig-zag line across the torso and arms, so...ruh-roh!

I'm still pretty far into Batastrophe, and I'll try and make sure to have this last chunk finished, so y'all at least get your month's worth <3 But full honesty, between my GI consultation finally being tomorrow afternoon, and me already taking my room apart to unclutter for an Orkin inspection on Tuesday, it won't be as much this time.

Just letting y'all know now, as it's developing! Hopefully these bites were only from the hotel, and they didn't hitch a ride home with me. I'll be inspecting the car in the morning, to cover all bases, in case they did...

Still, on the plus side–here's some more booming moo-ery, for the meantime! Got some pretty high numbers in this one, big shock <3

More to come! Thanks, y'all!

We just got finished with dealing with bed bugs after our move prior to the summer. We're pretty sure we got ours from the moving truck, just an absolute nightmare to deal with. Our problem never got too bad, we got extremely lucky we caught early, but we had to throw out a bunch of clothing and a mattress, nearly had to throw out all of our brand new furniture too, lots of washing and drying to the point everything shrank, etc. All in all took 3 months to finally get rid of them, and we only ever found maybe 10-20 of them total. They give off a weird musty/sweet smelling odor when they release their pheromones, so keep your nose active for that smell. It will almost certainly take at least 3 treatments to fully be sure they're gone. First two treatments did a good job, but they'll find the one tiny remaining crack and all gather in one spot. Once that happens, you'll know they're doomed once they all gather in one spot like that. We delayed so much stuff that we wanted to get done over the summer until just recently, we've been able to move forward and live life normally again after 3 months of dealing with that. Treatment + 2 weeks waiting/monitoring 3 times, the time adds up quickly!

I hope things shape up good for you!
