CYOA #3: MAID IN HEAVEN, CHAPTER 5 (+ FINAL BOSS POLL)

I was sure I was going to make a shorter chapter, this time. And as a result, it's now 57 pages. Failed in the funnest way though! I really enjoyed this boss battle! I froze up awhile, then finally thought of what to do, and it just kept building from there, we now we have another monster-sized, 27-page superbattle <XD But it should be entertaining! I hope!

STORY:
A LV 1 adventurer is the joke of the city Guild, until his discovery of a very special reptile puts him on a collision course with the most evil villain of all time
MAIN CHARACTERS:
LLOYD (Human Adventurer) M - A regular, unassuming human, a would-be adventurer that has trouble balancing his ambitions with his need to not die horribly...
ARLEI (Arr-lee) (Lizard Holy Maid) F - A holy maid sent from the Gods to purify evil; through an act of goodwill, Lloyd now has her as his die-hard protector and servant; her holy aura has an unforeseen side-effect, in that she turns EXP gained into size, and in-battle damage into muscle mass! She's kind to a fault, patient, yet will clobber anyone she even thinks might not have Master Lloyd's best interests at heart...
CHOOSABLE PARTY MEMBERS (UP TO 3): ***CHOSEN!***
STRUCTURE:
The story is a campaign that will be told in (likely 6-7) CHAPTERS, each with several RANDOM ENCOUNTERS and a BOSS.
Before each new chapter, patrons are able to vote for FOUR FACTORS that will determine how the next chapter works:
1). PARTY: Up to 3 side characters can be added to the party across the campaign, one at a time, but each character will SPLIT the overall EXP of every battle
2). BOSSES: After each chapter an updated list of bosses will be offered, and voters can pick which one will be next; bosses are tied to levels/regions, so the choice of boss for that chapter will literally determine where the PLOT goes!
3). INVENTORY: This ties into the amount of GOLD tallied at the end of each chapter! A list of purchasable items will be offered before each chapter, and the top options chosen will be 'bought'; once those options 'spend' all the GOLD, that's it! **GOLD MUST BE SPENT PER CHAPTER, THERE IS NO CARRYOVER/HOARDING, TO KEEP THINGS MANAGEABLE X3**
4). TRANSFERENCE: Arlei grows and grows, throughout each chapter/the full campaign, the more EXP she absorbs! Her base height is always going up, but in-battle gains are temporary! HOWEVER: at the end of each chapter, voters can use colored JEWELS to TRANSFER a portion of Arlei's size to another party member, changing their base height, bulk and endowments (this CAN narratively be advantageous, if the area BOSS is into that, male or female!) How much can be given to ONE character per jewel used will be decided beforehand, via spinner result!
Keep in mind, if an area is chosen that's tighter, like a city or castle, the bigger characters might have a tough time getting in, and the smaller will enter for the most interactions with the larger world!
IMPORTANT DETAILS:
**Those are the only things patrons are responsible for, EVERYTHING ELSE will be on my end! Every spell or skill used will depend on the party member chosen, and damage and effectiveness will hinge on random spinner rolls; same goes for boss battles, I'll 'roll' for what spells or attacks they use, as well as for damage, and voter pruchases/spells will have to hold out agains them!
**Tempting as it may be to buy nothing but power ups for characters (remember, spells are temporary, item-based buffs last), don't forget to heal the party! You can save GOLD by relying on MP, up to a point, IF you have healers...but MP can run out, and so can HP! If a character is knocked out, then GOLD will need to be spent to REVIVE them, next chapter!
**Characters' stats and HP/MP DO NOT replenish between chapters! If they're all hurt or sick, and not enough healing items or spells are handy, then GOLD will be spent on putting them all in and INN, next chapter, or REVIVING knocked out characters! That deduction will be automatic, and the remainder of GOLD is what voters will have to purchase with!

**THE TAKEAWAY:
*I'll be writing one chapter at a time. Patrons can vote on 4 things before each new chapter, and I'll write with those choices in mind (PARTY, BOSSES, ITEMS, TRANSFERRENCE)
*I'll be using random spins to determine how regular battles AND the chosen BOSS battles will go (attack damage, spells used, EXP/GOLD received); the more characters there are in the party, the more the EXP will be split
*At the end of each chapter, a randomly pre-set amount of Arlie's gained size/hyper/muscle can be transferred to another player, one for each type of jewel! It's one-way, and permanent! An option WILL exist, should voters want Arlei to stay her size and proportions, and voters can try again next round!
*At the end of each chapter, the accumulated GOLD will be used to purchase the top-voted ITEMS, up to the point the GOLD is 'spent'; those items will be used in the next chapter!
*At the end of each chapter, the next BOSS chosen will dictate what area they go to/where the story goes! It's how voters get to choose WHAT HAPPENS NEXT!
*HP/MP doesn't recharge between chapters, so voters will need to include INNs in their spending decisions!
*All choices will become what I'm allowed to work with, when writing the next chapter! Everything else, I will stay in control of, and will be bound by HP/MP, characters chosen, bosses chosen, etc.
*Any bosses or party members that go unused might get rolled into a possible sequel campaign, if this goes smoothly!
I think that's it! I know it's a lot to look at, initially, but I think voters will have the rhythm down pretty fast, since I'll be doing all the actual numbers and notations! This is the start template, it'll be refined as we go!
