BEHIND-THE-SCENES PROCESS WORK: GRADIENT SHADING TUTORIAL #2

Wuh-oh! It's time to start up the big one–gradient/edge shading for muscles! Bear in mind that what you see happening, step-by-step, really only takes like a few minutes, tops, when you get used to it!

Gradients can feel ornery for a bit, but you start to get a pretty solid idea how far your light-to-dark stretch will go, depending how far out you drag the stylus before letting go, and all that, so keep that in mind while you go through =3

You really just repeat this process across the form! Next time, we'll get to a different type of shading, that adds that extra bit of sheen! ^^

The full version of FLEX #21 is almost wrapped, too :D Had several chunky RL disruptions in a row this week, but it's still nearing completion!

Appreciate your taking the time to share theme. One of these days, I might actually get over my own darned anxiety and do something constructive with that info. This helps me take another step in that direction, at least. Very kind of you!

God that's entire arm alone is extremely incredible. Just amazing how much details you in your shading and texture just so we can every detail of muscle there is. You are a master DNA.
