HQ Release (No Sound) - AHOY!!!!!

so first off, me deepest grovelin’s fer not blastin’ this out yesterdasty, the wind weren’t in me sails. mentioned it i did in the previous scrawl by way o’ comment (which, thinkin’ back, mayhaps would’a been better spouted in a full-blown post), but to make a short yarn o’ it: i set the cursed render to spin, then bloody windows - may the deep swallow it whole - decides to hoist the update flag the moment i lay me bones down to rest. when i awoke from me slumbers, only ‘bout twenty blasted frames’ worth o’ render had been churned. a right kick in the pegleg, that one. and the lightin’ i'd set up? gone.but ho! tis not all bleak, for i rebuilt the lightin’ better and even gave the physics a fresh swabbin’. both be lookin' much finer than before. so ain’t all bad, not by a long shot.

the render did take a sturdy ten hours to make port, which ain’t too shockin’ considerin’ the scene were dark as the trenches of a kraken’s asscrack. needed extra samples to keep the noise at bay (which i reckon ain’t too noticable in this). i’ll be renderin’ the alt versions same as always: whilst i be catchin’ me z’s. don’t fancy fightin’ renders whilst i work, ‘cause the damned things clamp down on me machine and freeze the whole thing up ‘til i’m forced to reboot with me rotten pirate teeth gritted, gums'a BLEEDIN' from the WRETCHED SCURVY. so ye’ll see them unfold throughout the week. givin’ me rig a chance to catch its breath, rather’n runnin’ it into the maelstrom for days on end.

all said, ‘cept fer the openin’ technical issues, i’m mighty pleased with how the piece turned out!

as fer what be next on me horizon, i got a few ideas brewin’ in the galley. i’ll be tryin’ to pin one down and show a WIP for it in a few days’ time. probably nothing with Iskra (the model of me character i shared in the prior post) quite yet as she’s still be gettin’ her threads stitched and her features fleshed. the audio fer the loona skit’s almost done, so i’ll be set to start that voyage soon. aimin' to get it done by sunday at the rooster's call.
