hey, here's the final WIP of this animation! i slept wrong last night so my body is absolutely killing me with aches and pains - so i'm gonna forego the piratespeak for this post (i'll make up for it in the release, mateys). the eyes and tail are still mostly unanimated - but everything else is pretty much all set :] the other bits won't take long to do, so i'm hoping i can start getting this rendered tomorrow night - possibly sooner. that mountain trip i mentioned in the last post ended up getting cancelled, so it's business as usual - which means i'll be able to stay on schedule for the most part.
still couldn't get the physics working in the viewport render, but in other tests, they look solid (and they seem to show up in actual renders), so that's good at least. i'd like to figure out what's causing that before i start my next animation - i have a few ideas of what it is so i wont be taking shots in the dark.
and for the hell of it, since i brought it up before, here's a look at what those alts will be (i will say, they might end up being released apart from eachother depending on how long the rendering takes - so just bear with me)


(might change the aspect ratio for the POV version since it's hard to get everything in shot at certain points)
but also im not done sharing stuff yet because a model of a character of mine that's been in the works for quite a bit is now (mostly) good to go >:] here she is (a billion thank yous to (da.nilkas and roroboros for bringing her to life)

that's all i've got for now! hope you guys like the progress! as i said, i'll be trying to get this rendered sometime tomorrow, so you can expect to see the HQ release in about 2 days (the alts will come at a slightly later date) thanks as always for the continued support and take care :]
