W.I.P #141 - Meowscarada

just making a little update post since i felt like letting you guys know that the meowscarada animation will be ready to share tomorrow. i would HOPE it's finished rendering by the morning, but the render time on this one is pretty beefy since dark scenes like this tend to need more samples, otherwise you get a bunch of noise (AFAIK, only way to fix this would be brightening the scene - but i really like the lighting as is and would rather not screw that up for the sake of a faster render)
so you can expect to see it most likely sometime in the afternoon or evening. either way, it'll be coming tomorrow, so get excited (your excitement is mandatory)

would be done sooner had i not needed to scrap an ongoing render thanks to the ghost of dickmas past deciding to manifest (unnecessary elaboration on that below)

• in technical terms, it was a geoshell i was using for an animated wetness effect on the dick (which wasn't even working properly to begin with so i (*ASSUMED THAT I) fully turned it off, but forgot to disable it in renders - so the outline of a dong was just kinda in the background. hard to notice at a glance, but it became really apparent the more the animation progressed.
  it's annoying, but im at least glad i caught it somewhat early on at least. aside from that, there didn't seem to be any other noticeable problems in the render, so that's thankfully all the troubleshooting i'll have to do (or so i hope)

anyways, to ramble some more about the project (since i can't do a whole lot else while it's rendering); i spent most of today setting up the scene and lighting. i also took a few hours to figure out how to set up a wind simulation to kinda animate the grass since i thought that might help the scene feel a bit more alive. looked fine in test renders (which, shockingly, i haven't figured to do till now), so i'm looking forward to seeing how it turns out in the final one.
