i feel like I've started out the last 20 of these posts with an apology for taking longer than usual to do something, so let's make that 21. anyways, I've been very busy the last couple of days with a handful of things (the aggron skit, the SFW side project, this, and some life stuff) and chances are that's gonna continue being the case for a bit (since i now got the VA work for the fyixen & mimi projects so i gotta get started on the sound for those). regardless, I've made some decent progress so far, so here's that :]
go figure the physics are causing me problems as always. no goddamn clue what the hell the issue is this time but at least i was able to find some sorta fix (in short whenever i created more than one physics cage for highwire, the others would just stop working due to "no valid mesh" being found for the surface deform modifier or something like that)
i've still gotta add some variation to the animation, though, at least the bulk of the main action's set up and everything else seems to be in working order. this has turned out to be (as expected) a pretty difficult thing to animate, so mind any jank. i'll be trying to get that dealt with when im in the "finishing touches" stage of things. i also spent a little time making some additional shapekeys for highwire since there were certain expressions that i felt would be nice to have on hand. that being said, of course, none of the actual expressions have been animated or keyed yet - that'll be done when everything else is (as per usual)
all in all, im doing okay, just got a lot of stuff on my plate, so please bear with me if things slow down a tad! other than that, enjoy the preview :] i'll be back when i've got more to share, so stay tuned for that (along with the sound for the aforementioned animations (when they're ready of course))
