This episode is one where I really disliked Meadow. Her lecturing her mother about having options βif you donβt expect everything handed to youβ is so absurd, coming from someone who hasnβt had to be on her own.

How can you say Carmela is choosing to βbreak the contractβ of their marriage when Tony has constantly broken his marriage vows? As to alimony, Iβm only for it in cases where a husband didnβt want his wife to work outside the home (Tony), wanted a traditional marriage where his wife was never prepared for an independent life if he ended the marriage. And yes, by a moral standard, Tony ended the marriage many years ago.
