It seems that the general consensus (for a while coming) is that the human clone jutsu since chapters 30+ isn't well received. My original intention was to have them manage the Ninshu shrines and have one of them die, thereby unlocking Sarada's Mangekyou (with her thinking that he's the real thing).
Should I patch it out and remove it?
Edit: I have decided to change the functioning of the Human clone. Reading back, I didn't really like it either. Turns out it didn't take too much work to modify chapters 28-39 to making a clone with no libido and for administrative purposes only instead. Will be patching it out of chapters 40+ soon. Do let me know anything else you may take issue with. I only seek to improve!

I honestly dislike the living clones it’s just to much like something the Snake senin would do and Naruto while he wants to help people has always stuck to his morals and never crossed that line and that living clone crossed that line plus I would like to see Tsunami in the story more

2023-08-25 06:28:45 +0000 UTCI didn't mind it as he was both of them at once. It didn't have individual thoughts because he controlled both at once. On the other hand, I dislike when stories use a convenient clone to leave some harem members elsewhere and we never hear from them again except in passing.

2023-08-24 04:34:39 +0000 UTCI'm not completely opposed to the jutsu, it doesn't ruin the story for me, but it does somehow manage to not feel like 'Naruto'. It feels like... something else. I'm guessing that is mostly down to how quickly it came into the story and how easily Naruto was able to make it, especially because it was all done in the background. And to be fair, this is a smut story and not a 'Fanon attempt to expand the world-building' story. But a consequence of these choices is that the jutsu doesn't feel like it belongs in the Naruto world despite it being supposed to belong according to the story. Either way, whether or not it goes or stays, I'm here for Naruto, his relationships, the smut, and the 'For want of a nail' parts of the story. The human clone just seems like a convenient way to handwave some stuff to make happen off screen so we can get to what the author wants to actually write. Sure it lowers the quality of the story's world-building, but I'm not here for this story's world-building, so I consider it a good trade despite that trade having some downsides.

2023-08-24 03:00:36 +0000 UTCA ton of people have theorized that you can unlock the Mangekyō Sharingan with extremely positive emotions as well and in doing so would not have the downside of the sharingan destroying your eyesight as well.
