Yeah, if that's the output from id -u arm, then that should work. It might be an issue with the volume mount. Maybe send me an email with your docker script. colten@hardwarehaven.media

They are both set to "1001". Which is what you had in the video but also when I ran the command to look for it that is the output I was given as well! *Also I am decent with tech but not super familiar with a lot of command line and docker stuff. So be patient with me if I am confused with your replies!

Hmm... are you sure that the UID and GID environment variables in the docker command correlate with the arm user?

Can someone help me out a bit? I got everything setup and now Im getting an error saying the video cant be moved to the complete folder. All are given permission to arm when i run "ls -l". The folder also creates in completed but the actual movie is not there. I can also see it in the raw folder for a quick bit and then it clears out like the command shows it would do and then no video is in the completed folder after that.

This is perfect timing for me. I just started ripping the family library recently.

Had no idea this existed! I (manually) ripped and transcoded our library of physical media a few years ago and something like this to automate the process would've been great. Those damn TV series discs - I used to rip the episode files and then play them in a Blu-ray player to match up which file was which. It was tedious to say the least, but oh so worth it in the end!

Wish I knew about this like 2 years and 12tb ago. Manually ripped my entire library over the course of 6 months. Even got to rip season 3 of 24 3 times! Thanks!! I’ll be giving this a try when my next load of DVDs come in this week.

This looks like it could be really useful, thanks! Thought I ought to mention though, at 2:10, Lightscribe isn't a brand, it's a way of using the laser to draw on the label side of the some blank discs. It was great the few times I've used it!

Super speedy speech around 25:51. Otherwise awesome video! Might have a use for that disc drive after all!

I've sporadically checked in on the A.R.M. stuff as well - tried it back with scripts running across 4 Blu-ray readers and it was SUCH a pain haha
