If you’re old enough—or versed in old commercial culture—you might recall a series of late-20th century milk commercials that predated even the “Got Milk?” advertising campaign...Those were heady times, back when the dairy industry seemed to have a whole lot of ad dollars to burn (despite none of us apparently being aware of milk or its dietary benefits), and they often got a little creative and weird with that money...
“Milk: It Does a Body Good” was a series of ads that generally involved someone smugly talking about the nutritional values of drinking milk in a strange and curiously vindictive manner that, in at least a few instances, seemed more like someone monologuing about vengeance while drinking an experimental super-elixir than just enjoying the alleged health benefits of dairy products. It was certainly an interesting conceptual decision...but it also had the feel of something that could be easily transmuted into some manner of fetish fuel (if it wasn’t already).
And so—because old commercials often randomly bubble back up into my conscious thought—here’s an adaptation with Allie playing the role of the ambitious milk-drinker, with results that are...less than directly dairy-related, but anyway XD...Enjoy!
