“I spy with my little eye, something… blue!”

It was all so terrifying. Looking back, the hours passed stumbling around in pitch black darkness felt cozy in comparison to the chaos now overwhelming Hana’s senses. Light burnt her retinas, the ground shook beneath her feet and the loud repetitive beats of footsteps assaulted her ears. Even more terrifying, was the voice echoing throughout the vast and mostly empty room in which experimental projects were stored. Hana knew it. Worst, in her current state, she feared it.

“Hmm… Is it chemical residue?” the same voice answered, seemingly closer.

Now that the security light had been triggered back on, Hana could see the clear trail of serum that she had left behind her. Regretfully, she hadn’t seen the broken vial amidst the rest, its liquid seeping into the old cardboard box. When she finally felt the wetness against her exposed fingertips, it was already too late. She had tripped over the large shelves, her brain fuzzy under the rapid changes her body underwent. The vial had clattered against the ground when the box had become too heavy to carry. From there, it didn’t long for her to pass out, utterly exhausted.

Now that someone large enough had finally triggered the lights back on, Hana was able to fully comprehend the direness of her situation. The large storage room had transformed into a cathedral. A place so vast, it induced vertigo simply looking around it. She could never hope to save herself, but why did her savior have to be her? The footsteps had grown louder. Closer.

Nothing could prepare the young woman to the sight of Lena Oxton casually strolling her way, a frown on her face as she meticulously followed the trail of blue serum splattered across the floor. It was both awe-inspiring and terrifying at the same time. Nothing this large should move this fast, and yet, Lena seemed to defy the laws of physics in that regard once again. Hana felt her knees weaken as the almond eyes of her savior locked onto her. She’d never felt this helpless before in her life.

“I spy with my little eye, something… small.” Lena said, a slight smirk drawn on her lips. “Someone’s  in a place they’re not supposed to be.” she continued, taking one more step towards the shrunken woman, placing her feet on each side of her puny form. From where she stood, Hana looked barely bigger than a roach, if even that.

The silence that followed felt like an eternity. Hana wondered what she could say to get herself out of the mess she’d made for herself - knowing every word she’d pronounce would inevitably get twisted by Lena to rub salt in her wounds. She watched the sneakers around her ever so slightly twitch as her tormentor unconsciously moved her toes inside. Hana could hear the polymer’s inaudible creaks, and wondered if the heat she felt came from fear overwhelming her, or was just radiating away from Lena’s skin.

“First time you’ve got nothing to say, you’re alright?” Lena asked, her feigned concern betrayed by the small smirk in the corner of her lips. Despite the coarseness of the bait, it worked, pushing Hana to come out of her silence out of frustration.

“No, of course I’m not alright. What says ‘I’m alright’ with me right now you giant… giant…” Hana finally let out in one breath, before stopping in her tracks, cold sweat running down her back.

“Giant what?” Lena replied, her smirk now completely on display, causing Hana’s heart rate to rise even higher. In one question, Lena had already diffused any attempt the shrunken woman could have made to appear stronger than her stature indicated.

“Forget it… You’re gonna help or you’re just gonna stand here doing nothing?” Hana quickly continued, praying Lena would let it go - just this once.

“I feel like you had something mean to say. Which is pretty weird considering you’re currently the size of a matchstick, surrounded by what seems to be shrinking chemicals. Oh, and in front of me! Who, in case you missed it, isn’t bug-sized. So I’d say being mean is not in your best interest…” Lena said, her tone resembling one she’d take to discipline a badly-behaving pet.

“Can you be any more condescending?” Hana replied, frustration getting the best of her nerves.

“I don’t know, can you be any smaller?” Lena snapped back, pushing ever so slightly an open vial with the toe of her shoe, threatening Hana to soak her with more of the dangerous chemical.

“Wait, wait wait…” Hana raised her hand in fear, hoping to halt the vial’s steady progress towards her. The bottle stopped moving as Lena’s foot dropped back on the floor next to it. The viscous liquid continued to progress ever so slightly, before finally coming to a halt near Hana’s feet. The shrunken woman sighed in relief.

“Are you gonna play nice?” Lena asked, raising an eyebrow.

“I just want to get out of here.” Hana replied, her voice filled with more fear and anguish than she wished to share with her tormentor.

“I guess I can help with that. Though, if I’m honest, it doesn’t feel like you’re that desperate for help…” Lena’s voice trailed off, leaving Hana confused by what the titaness meant.

“Wha- The hell are you talking about?” Hana replied, frustration once again building up in her.

“I don’t know. First you’re mean to me, then you’re bratty… I just don’t really feel like you want my help all that much.” Lena explained, trying her best to appear hurt by Hana’s behavior. The shrunken woman did her best to remain composed despite fuming inside. “Why did it have to be HER.” she thought to herself once again.

“I’m four fucking centimeters, Lena. In the middle of some deserted storage room. What am I supposed to do to convince you I need help, get on my knees and beg?” Hana replied instinctively.

“I mean, you could try. See if it helps.” Lena replied, crossing her arms and taking a step back, as if she needed to carefully observe and assess Hana’s next move.

The shrunken woman mumbled to herself. - all the words she had for her “savior” but couldn’t throw in her face at the risk of ending up a stain.

“No. No way.” Hana snapped back.

“See, that's exactly what I meant. You’re not that desperate for my help. You’re just… facing a little challenge you’ll manage to help yourself out of in no time. Well, since that’s resolved…” Lena’s voice trailed off as she turned around ready to leave. Fear instantly spiked in Hana’s mind, panic taking over her tiny body.

“No wait!” Hana screamed desperately. Lena stopped. “Please help, I don’t wanna be stuck in the dark here. Please…” the shrunken woman pleaded. Lena remained stoic, turned away from Hana’s tiny form, mid-step. Silence weighed heavy.

“If I turn around, you better be on your tiny little knees. IF, you really want me to help.” Lena spoke commandingly. Instinctively, Hana dropped on all four, terrified of losing her only shot at getting help.

“I… I am! Look, I am.” Hana replied, hoping this latest humiliation would be the last one necessary to get out of this mess. Lena finally turned back around, a pleased expression drawing on her face as discovered the satisfying sight of Hana Song bowing down to her pleadingly.

“Hmm… Perhaps there’s hope yet for you. A bit dense, but I’m sure we could train you out of those bad habits of yours in no time.” Lena spoke lightheartedly, instilling a new form of confusion in Hana.

Before she had the time to get back up, or process what she had just heard, the titaness bent down and scooped her up. Delicately, Lena brought Hana’s tiny form up to her face, making sure not to bring her too close in case she still had any serum left on her.

“Alright, I’ll get you out of here. I’ll bring you back to my place and keep you safe there!” Lena smiled gently towards the shrunken woman in her hand.

“What about helping me with… this!” Hana replied, pointing at her own body.

“Well you said you wanted help getting out of here. You didn’t say anything about getting help getting back to normal size. You really need to use your words better, little one. It’s alright. Words are hard. We’ll make sure you don’t need them much anymore…” Lena whispered.

As Lena fingers closed around Hana’s tiny form, the shrunken woman trembled. As fear gripped her throat in a sob, she suddenly longed for the comforting darkness of the storage room.

“At least I was safe there…”

Another piece that just started as a random test in Blender. Despite how much I dislike this software, I've got to admit it allows to make certain things I couldn't hope to make in DAZ. It might be why the presence of depth effects increase so heavily in my Blender stuff compared to the renders I make in DAZ - go figure.

Anyway, I hope you'll enjoy this little piece. We have a significantly meaner Tracer than usual, an helpless Dva... I imagine it won't be too hard to like :)

Tracer slowly becoming the villain over time from all these shrinking shenanigans. Die a hero, or live long enough to become the villain as I believe the saying goes?
