Now I will say this though, Anders. You have very good art and even good shipping art. The current drama doesn't specifically target you, as anny herself believes that the shipping isn't the problem. It was the out of context clipping, insinuations of agreement between her and the offending party, and the pressure it had on her and her relationship with vedal. I don't think she finds fault in any of artist that makes shipping art, as it is an artistry of itself. Now should you bring pushing an agenda with intent with your art or misrepresentation of certain quotes but with intent to force a scenario or narrative, then that can be called into question at the same level of the current offending party. But otherwise, I don't see the blame landing on you or other artists of the same genre, and I don't think any would either (especially since she herself has skirted the same type of content, et al. Futanny, and her previous selacious models). She is an artist of very erotic designs, so I would think that she wouldn't hamper fellow artists of the same nature. Just the message and intent is important, that and the intent behind the narrative being pushed). Anycase I and others enjoy your content, and wise decision to lie low for the moment, but never let yourself lag or have thisomentaey drama hinder yourself and what you find enjoyable to draw NSFW or otherwise. Best wishes to you Anders and I look forward to your next design.

Understandable, as the momentary drama has kinda rocked the vedal/neuro verse community. But it was also bound to happen as of recently there have been quite an overspill of tension and shipping. This statement from anny and recoil is a healthy recall to order and I think it's time for artists, specially those of the rabid shipper kind, to lay down some ground rules and contact to those they ship for clarification on the boundaries of just right and too far. As for the shipping art itself, I think the shipping and even some NSFW art is fine, as it is seen as characters rather than people. The "pushing it" is where expectation, reality, and demands collide with the art. Anycase, good call, but it is always good to remind oneself of the barrier between expectation and just good art.
