Progress report (January 20th 2021)

Hello everyone, progress report is here!

1. Adventurer : Axe warrior full animation set:

Idle animation

charge attack animation

jump attack animation

War cry

Axe throw attack

Axe warrior's totem

Totem transforms into axe warrior


axe warrior is first adventurer player will meet. He throws axe and set the totems around cause debuff on slime. player can destroy totem to prevent totem's various negative effects.

2. Adventurer : Lance knight full animation set:

Idle animation

Walk animation

Preparing attack

Summon boulder


Lance knight does not need a shield because the lance she carry. 

Her lance can pierce through dimension; therefore she uses magic to summon boulders as her shield, and attacks the target behind the boulders.

This may look dirty trick in point of view of knight's opponent. but it is effective way to fight against powerful opponent. Adventurer's number one priority is survive after all.

Good thing is her attack range is not far. player may lure her by staying outside of attack range and make her separate from her party member. also she need charging time after certain number of attacks. that's the time for the counter attack.

3. New adventurers (single frame) : Rogue, Wizard

These are the new adventurer characters i'm working on.

*when player defeat second rogue, character's face become hidden to describe that this character is different character.*

That's very interesting idea! I doubt of the possibility, but I'll ask to programmer anyway. if applying it as part of gameplay is not possible, making it as scripted scenario might be the second option...i guess?

I wonder, how hard would it be to implement a "body snatching" mechanic to the slime if going down the corruption route? It could be a neat mechanic to "pilot" defeated adventurers and taking advantage of their move sets. Where it would be like gaining a new health bar to protect yourself and once defeated that adventurer gets captured by the monster that lands the final blow (performing whatever H-animation available, else they just crumple and are knocked out again) and it knocks the slime out of the adventurers body and you continue as normal.
