Welcome to March!

Hello Nudies,

Welcome to a brand-new month! I hope it brings joy, positivity, and plenty of sunshine for all of you. I’m especially looking forward to some good weather—there’s nothing like basking in the warmth of the sun, feeling free and connected to nature.

While scrolling through my photos, I felt a wave of excitement seeing all the creative moments I’ve captured. It reminded me how much I miss drawing and diving into a good book. I’m hoping that once the weather improves, I can spend some quality time in my backyard, soaking up the sun (and maybe some vitamin D *au naturel*) while getting lost in a great story. And, of course, I’d love to pick up my sketchpad and let my creativity flow again soon!

This weekend, however, took an unexpected turn. Last night around 9:30 PM, a fire broke out at a disco right behind where I live. It was chaos—police, firefighters, and crowds of people everywhere. The situation was incredibly stressful, especially since it was so close to home. After a few hours, we were asked to leave our apartment, and we locked everything up before heading out. It was frustrating not knowing how bad things were, as no one could give us clear updates.

Around 1:30 AM, Floris’s dad picked us up, and we stayed at his place for the night. We brought Lola the cat with us, but unfortunately, Lernie the lizard had to stay behind since he needs his heat lamp. The whole experience was exhausting, and I’m even more tired now than I was before the weekend. Thankfully, the fire was under control by 2:30 AM, but we were already on our way to get some rest.

The next morning, we returned home, completely drained, and tried to make the best of a relaxing Sunday. I’m just grateful everything is okay now, and I really hope nothing like this happens again.

Now, it’s 1:08 AM, and I need to head to bed—school awaits tomorrow! I feel bad for not posting as much lately, but I’ve got lots of ideas brewing, so stay tuned! I’ll do my best to bring them to life soon.
