Madison had a genuine redemption arc this season to the point where she sacrificed her life for the greater good. Yeah I guess this timeline’s Madison hasn’t had that arc yet but she is capable of it and leaving her there longer just seems unnecessarily mean.

2024-10-21 02:10:01 +0000 UTCDefinitely recommend checking out the first half of season 10 (it’ll make more sense when you see it, don’t wanna spoil anything). It’s the last season we get to see some of our faves all together (also won’t say who’s in it) and there’s some excellent performances and it feels fresh but also feels like classic AHS. Definitely worth watching!!

2024-10-20 18:29:15 +0000 UTCYay! Some people were miffed that Michael died that way since it was corny. But it was meant to be cheesy; how could you realistically kill the anti-Christ? I'm guessing that he was still mortal enough to die because it took place prior to his Black Mass initiation. I never considered that Michael was an especially effective villain because he was a new actor, but that's a good point. I know the actor-- Cody Fern-- is one of the reasons I liked this season so much ☺️ (Cody was actually in one of Ryan Murphy's other shows prior to this. Something about a fashion designer? I haven't seen it.)

Also I’m glad you didn’t seem to notice Angela Bassett’s name during the credits (Jessica Lange too) after the opening so Marie Laveau’s guest appearance wasn’t spoiled for you.

It goes even further with the fact that the car crash with Addie took place on Halloween night and it’s on Halloween night again that Mallory goes back in time, and with the help of Constance, saves the world from the Apocalypse. This season is perfectly written and even enhances the writing of Murder House and Coven.

2024-10-20 16:28:11 +0000 UTCEmily and Timothy are the backup plan, since they were genetically advanced enough to make a baby strong enough to sustain Michael's energy, if you remember from the first episode they were chosen to be saved because of their genes. And as Mallory said, energy doesn't disappear, it just changes form so Michael's energy just turned into the baby and that's why the baby didn't have to be born from a ghost and a human.
