Happy to see you keep going with the AHS world. This is one of my favorite seasons, though I think all are worth a look for the series' variety and ambition. I'd probably just go with all the Emmy nominees for S tier: Jessica Lange (lead winner), Sarah Paulson (lead nominee), Kathy Bates (supporting winner), Frances Conroy (supporting nominee) and Angela Bassett (supporting nominee). If I kicked one out, it would be Cordelia, as the other four characters are musts (Myrtle is my favorite character — so delightfully weird — while Bates probably gives the best performance this season).

Zoey had so much potential but they turned her character into being all about her zombie bf for some reason. Even her hellscape was lame lol. Evan Peters will be back to a leading role next season. They gave him a lighter role this year so he could do X-men days of future past.

Imo the first half of the season was incredible but then I think the writers didn’t know what to do tbh . Doesn’t mean that it’s bad I still enjoyed it very much . Season 2 is still the goat 🔥

So in the intro, when they show Sara Paulsons name credit, the background is “the woman of the 7 gifts”, Santa Muerta, a figure depicting a legend of Latin culture I believe. They’ve been telling us all along she was the supreme of 7 wonders since episode 1 lol. “WhAt iS tHiS KnOtTy PiNe?!?!”

Also I totally agree with your S tier! Nan was a really fun character but also had a lot of depth, which I love, especially since she has Down's Syndrome, and she's one of the first actors with Down's to do a lot of this, she also did a runway walk in NY Fashion week the year this season came out I belive. I had an uncle with Down's who sadly passed away last summer, and I miss him every day, so seeing Nan in this season and Addy in the first season brought me a lot of joy :) Looking forward to season 4 :)

I think the Axeman in Fiona's hell is probably a mirrored version of him, meant for her hell, cos I would imagine he is in his own hell - probably no more jazz for him xD
