2023-07-05 15:59:22 +0000 UTCSo, the only reason I do that is because volume fluctuates quite a bit throughout movies/shows (like the dialogue scenes are much quieter than the battle scenes)... and it would take me hours extra to sit through a full uncut reaction to manually change the volume for each individual moment (I only do that for the cut youtube reactions). So instead, I just find a volume level that's loud enough to hear but quiet enough so the loudest scene (like battle scenes) won't be louder than my own voice. It's presumed that whoever is watching these have already seen the show anyways and a lot of people like to use their own copy as a reference as well, so I just don't want the show audio to interfere. So I guess many reasons as to why it is this way.
