Thanks for your patience with me on getting this page out. Not only did I have to build some pretty complex backgrounds, but I also had to design several new characters. I also lost almost a full week of time when I was ill, which then ran into doing professional work the following week where I couldn't work on the comic. When I finally got back to it I also had to practice drawing the new characters so they'd be consistent. (I'll post some of those sketches next week.) Then I decided to do this page and the following page at the same time so I could establish some consistency between the scenes and characters. I'm glad I did it that way because I ended up going back and forth several times, changing details between the pages so everything would read nicely.

One downside to drawing a bunch of new characters is that I'm not nearly as fast at drawing them as I am drawing the main characters. Particularly Quentin, since I've had so much practice with him at this point. So just bear with me as I get through the next few pages. I almost have the next page finished too, so I should be able to post that tomorrow. Then I think I can hit my stride again after that.

There's a cameo from Metta on the left, since he helped me out with some of the equations in the background.
