This is a quick animation loop I did for Koril. He recently had a really nice looking model done and I wanted to do something with it. I also wanted to try using the technique I used for Pulsar's butt rig on a mouth, to see if that would save time by snapping the lips around an object. It kind of worked. Mostly it helped me identify a few limitations to the technique, so I have a better understanding now of where it works and where it doesn't. Anyway, enjoy the slurping!

But I didn't have the coils moving, and the whole background felt too static and disconnected. So I added some subtle animation to them just to bring it to life. Then had to rerender the whole thing Friday night to post this morning. x) I'm glad I took the extra day though because it really makes a huge difference.
