Added 2024-09-12 19:58:11 +0000 UTCWhen I originally wrote this story, I had Quentin going from class to the restroom straight to the commons, with no real thought given as to how he was getting from one place to the next. As the story developed, I realized he probably needs an excuse to actually go to a crowded area and not just try to duck out the back door. So this page provides that motivation. (Plus I've seen these signs lots of times before and I've always assumed that they're just trying to keep people from using the door. x) So it was fun to make a joke out of it.)
The next page might be slightly delayed because it's going to be one of the most complicated scenes I've ever had to draw. It's basically a large crowd scene, a sort of Where's Waldo-style establishing shot with a lot of figures and details. I also have to build a new set for it in Blender. So I'll do my best to get it done quickly, but it might be a little late.
Also a quick note about the previous page—I was waiting to see if anyone would comment on this but I don't think anyone did so I'll mention it now. The restroom sign changed from "Men" on page 25 to the more generic "Rest Room" on page 30, implying that with this latest shift he's now in a reality where there are co-ed restrooms. It doesn't really have any bearing on the story and I'm not going anywhere with it. I just thought it was a fun detail. x)

2024-09-13 16:23:55 +0000 UTCin my experience a LOT of the "mergency door" is just a extra exit if the main rotissery is full or malfuncitononing and anyone CAN open it if they want, the mall or whatever is just kinda sour on the use, I have HEARD of the doors that causes the alarm and I guess that is a real thing, though I have also heard of the systme where the alarm "unlocks" the emerengy doors or whatever.

I know ya said yer not plannin' on doin' more with that, but that is a very hot physical demonstration on how sexuality is becomin' increasingly normalized with each additional warp. I gotta pay closer attention for this stuff goin' forwards!
