Hey all, big update to Thermalito again. This one is probably the final one bar any bug fixes for the 2025 version.
Please do a clean install of this track (delete old files and then copy across new ones) rather than just install via Content Manager.
Reminder, Thermalito 2025 uses a different folder from Thermalito 2023, so you can have both installed at the same time.
Now Thermalito is out of the way, and ready for the event, expect some more variety in the tracks uploaded in th enear future :D
Bit of a slog to read the changelog, but here it is.
Thermalito Changes 2025
Fixed Edge Material shader when car lights shine on it at night
Updated track edge texture, with new diffuse and normal map
Added back Ferris wheel
Updated textures on Ferris wheel to make it Thermalito branded
Fixed wall being present blocking the route on short layout
Added cones on the T1 cut of short layout, making track direction clear
Fixed the crowd system not working (and causing crashes) on the latest version of CSP.
Improved the crowd system, so they’re more sat on the grandstands.
Crowd systems no longer spawns on grandstands outside of the ‘short layout’, when the short layout is in use.
Updated video screens around the track, so they now show a bit of race footage alongside logos.
Updated Video screens around the track so the video file is framed better.
Added video screens on the start / finish straight.
Updated terrain shader. More details in grass and rocky areas.
Adjusted grass length in config, as the new slightly greener terrain was making the grass look too long.
Added trophies to the garages of previous winners and podium sitters of the Thermalito Races.
As the track is supposed to be ‘two years newer’ I made some fresher looking asphalt in heavily used areas which were previous dirt. Doesn’t affect driving lines, more aethstics.
New AI and Cameras supplied by DDF
New Audio files supplied by DDF, giving crowd noise, generators in the Dam etc.
New Sponsor logos added by DDF
*Note, due to the complexity of the Audio setup, there’s currently a bit of a bug where the audio can be really loud for a split second when the map is first loaded. I’m not sure if this is a bug with the track, audio system or maybe even CSP. Investigation continues.
