Introducing the Spring Mounain Karting Circuit.
As part of my continued partnership with Spring Mountain, we had a slight change of direction and needed to prioritize the Kart circuit for an event. I worked in tandem with the construction company, as almost daily updates were sent my way as the track was being built in real life.
There’s still a few missing objects around the track, as well they’ve only been in place for a few days at the actual venue so not everything has been modelled yet.
Please keep this in mind if things look a bit bare around the edges. It’ll get fleshed out given time. Some of the rougher patches will also be given polish in a future update.
For a karting track, it certainly feels large. There’s more than enough room to race around in some quick cars. Three of the layouts even feature a banked turn! (turn 1).
There are four layouts, three the track will be using in real life, and one I made just for fun.
There’s the ‘full’ loop that uses most of the track surface, then a north and a south loop that allow two events to be held on the track at the same time.
Finally, there’s the outer loop that I added, it removes the chicane on the straight from the full loop, and cuts out some of the infield sections, for a lap with a much faster average speed.
