I actually only know about that scene from Fast Times because of this one episode of the show 'Alias' that did an homage to the Fast Times scene. And, I have to say, Alias did a better job of the imagery of someone emerging from the pool with water running off of them, which is what you wanted for Pulsar, here, I think! https://www.dailymotion.com/video/x56ik03 Skip to 14:36 in this video.
