Chapter 4.1.2.2.2.2 - He transforms a family member.

The walk home was longer than Tim expected. He only got lost on one street before he figured out where he was. Then, he found a good shortcut to take him home. Still, being in the body of an 8 year old had some drawbacks when it came to physical activity. He was considerably smaller and weaker with shorter legs, which meant that he had to take more steps than usual. It also meant that his backpack was proportionally heavier than usual. Faith weighed on his mind as well.

By the time he unlocked the front door of the house, he was winded and barely had enough strength left to swing the weighty door open and shut before dropping his bag in the hall and collapsing onto a couch in the living room. He lay there, and kicked off his shoes, one after the other, getting comfortable.

“What now?” Tim asked himself, wondering about Faith. He felt a bit overwhelmed by her, dominated even. It left him wishing to feel more in control again. Maybe it would help to use the app on someone else living in this house, putting him back in control. Having changed his own life radically, why not change another? It could be fun, at least.

Tim was currently home alone, but there were several options to choose from once everyone returned. His 13-year-old sister might be fun to mess with. She had always been sporty. What if he made her obese or made her extremely athletic and muscular, masculine even? He also had a 10-year-old brother, who was a bit of a brat. He might make a cute house pet, or he might behave better if he were a girl. Then, there were his parents, both hovering around 40. His mother was a lawyer and had a dominating personality. Imagine if she were a man or if she were demoted to be the youngest kid in the family. His father was a gentle soul, an artist, working in marketing. Maybe he would be happier as a little brother, drawing with crayons in a coloring book, or maybe he would fit better as a wife than husband.

Thinking it all over, Tim wondered if it was sexist to consider changing his family’s genders. He doubted if he cared all that much if he was being sexist. There were a lot of worse things he could do with an app that anything was possible. With no limits, was he really bound by morality anymore? Could he really judge one change to be better than another? Could anything he did now be wrong?

Laying there with the power of a god in his hands, he debated his family’s fate.

Who would be the first to change? What change would he choose to change?
