February 2023 Updates

Hello, my generous supporters. Good to have you with me for another month. I have some things that I need to explain, and I hope you will forgive me for the lack of story posts lately.

Patreon has acted as a wonderful incentive to keep me writing regularly and to keep me interacting with my readers. Unfortunately, Patreon is set up as a monthly service, meaning that there is an expectation that I share some content every month. Normally, that is no problem. I write almost every day, and I normally have a few stories ready to share every month. The past couple of months have been a challenge when it comes to my writing. I have written thousands of words, but none of those stories are ready for publication yet. Things are just taking more than a month to finish.

Let me give you some examples. I have a commission I have been working on for months that is just expanding as I work on it. Because it was paid for, I am giving it most of my focus, but it is eating up a lot of my writing time. Taller required some major revisions, and it took a long time for me to figure out what fixes it needed. The next part of My Best Friend the Witch took a while to get started. I had several ideas for it, and I struggled to choose one. And, although I want to have it finished soon, Mary Christmas 2 is going to take a lot of work. I will need to re-read huge chunks of the earlier chapters to make sure I properly resolve all of the plot lines I set up. At this point, I have not had the time to do all of that work.

As the end of January approached, I realized that I would have none of the above mentioned stories ready, so I quickly put together Babysat to Babysitter to give you something else to read last month. I hope it was a welcome surprise.

February should be different. Some or most of the stories I am working on should be ready in the next few weeks. You have all been so patient, and I appreciate it. Your patience will be rewarded soon.

Now, check out the list of what I will write soon, as well as the winner of the Next Story Idea Poll for February:

1. Taller - (Growth) A girl has been cursed to grow taller. Having just passed seven feet tall, she is desperate to break the curse, but will she find out who has cursed her? And, can she reverse her growth?
2. The last Patreon commission is on its way soon as well.
3. My Best Friend The Witch: Part 3 (Multiple Changes) What if your best friend was a witch with a tendency for magcial torture? Read another part of a short series of misadventures with Esme as told from her best friend Jaime’s perspective.
4. Babysitter Girlfriend - (Male AR to baby, diapers) This month’s poll winner - A teen boy wants to date a cute teen girl. Unfortunately, her parents forbid her from dating and keep a close eye on where she goes. However, they will let her babysit. Thanks to a little magic, the boy can become a baby, so she can pretend to babysit him. What if the pretending goes too far, though?
5. Mary Christmas 2 (The Ending) - Christmas never has to end but this story does. This one could qualify as my first serious extended story. After all the years since starting it, it is finally time to finish the tale. I am committed to realizing the vision I had for it so long ago.
6. Edits - (Choose Your Own TF) A phone app can edit reality. More chapters soon.
7. Two (Alternate Endings) - (TG, AR) Expect to see one of these eventually:
   - Equal - The brothers divide the years equally, leaving them 6.
   - Success - Greyson somehow ends up back at 21 and Ethan stays 12.
