Writing Commissions (Updated 5/30/24)

Procedures

Submit an idea in this Writing Commissions Submission Form to be considered for a writing commission. The form will most likely open up every few months for about a week. Submissions will be selected based on my interest in writing them. Follow the directions in the form. You may submit the form multiple times if you have several ideas for me to consider.

To start, share some personal information and describe how you wish to be contacted. Note: you must be at least 18 years old or older to commission writing from me. Provide a synopsis of the story you want me to write. Describe what transformations you want to have included and give a brief description of characters and major events. Describe the length of the story. (See below for my rates and time needed to complete information.) Select a payment option from the list. You must pay in full before I will start writing your story. (See below for payment options information.)

My Rates

Vignette (~1,000 words): $10 for Patreon supporters

Brief Short Story (2,000-3,000 words): $35

Short Story (4,000-6,000 words): $80

Novelette (7,000-10,000 words): $185

Anything longer is $20 per 1,000 words.

(These prices include multiple-part stories. The length will be the total of all parts added together.)

Time Needed to Complete (Availability):

Vignette: 1 month (at my discretion)

Brief Short Story: 1 month or more (2 to 4 selected at a time)

Short Story: 2 months or more (1 or 2 selected at a time)

Novelette: 4 months or more (none or 1 selected at a time)

Anything longer could take 6 months or more (rarely accepted/might be divided into parts)

Payment Options

I accept payment through Ko-Fi, Patreon, or PayPal. The full price of the commission must be paid before I will start writing it.

Ko-Fi:

For Ko-Fi, I will contact you if I approve your submission. Then, you will need to send in a Ko-Fi donation for the amount of your commission.

Patreon:

For Patreon, I will contact you if I approve your submission. Then, you will need to join at the custom amount for your commission.

If you are interested in a cheaper option to get your idea written, you may simply add an idea to the monthly poll by paying $5 to $7. Anyone paying $3 or more can vote on the poll.

PayPal:

For PayPal, I will contact you if I approve your submission. Then, I will send you an invoice to start the commission.

Rules

You may choose if and how you want to share my commissioned writing publicly. If you allow it, I will post commissions on my accounts when I choose. I will credit you publicly as the commissioner by name unless you tell me that you wish to remain anonymous. If you do share the commissions on your own, you must attribute my commissioned writing to lostandwhatever and provide a link to my DeviantArt page or my Patreon. You are not permitted to use my commissioned writing for commercial purposes without a special arrangement with me. You must be 18 years old or older to commission work from me. I will write stories with sexual situations but only involving adult characters. I reserve the right to refuse writing about certain topics. (You can read my work to see what my interests are.)
