Explanation and Updates to the Edits CYOA

Hello!

Sorry for all the email spam this evening. I’ve been putting together the first layer of options to the new Edits - Choose Your Own Adventure story. Please, let me explain a little bit about how this will work going forward.

Each new chapter will get a new number based on my chapter number system. Basically, for each chapter that follows, a new number will be added on to the previous chapter’s number. For example, the chapters in the first layer of options get numbers 1, 2, 3, and 4. A continuation of chapter 1 would be chapter 1.1 or chapter 1.2. And, a continuation of chapter 4 would be chapter 4.1 and chapter 4.2. (If that’s confusing now, please be patient. It should make more sense when I add in more layers.)

To help you navigate the story better, there will be an Outline that will be updated regularly at the bottom of chapter 0, which will be pinned to the top of the feed. Also, each chapter will include a link to this outline and, sometimes, a link to the previous chapter. This is all a lot of work to organize and update, so let me know if you spot a mistake. I will be adding more chapters each month. (Due to the complexity of the linking and outlining, I plan on keeping this CYOA as a Patreon exclusive experience after chapter 0, which will appear on my DeviantArt page soon.)

There will be a poll sometime in the middle of the month to help me select which chapters should be continued and what you want to see happen in the new chapters. Please comment in the chapters with ideas of options for what you would like to see happen next. I will add some of those ideas to the poll, and based on the results, I will write some of the most popular ideas. I look forward to seeing your ideas.
