Walking down the hall, Tim’s mind raced with thoughts of all the ways that he could test out the app again. There were so many possibilities, it was overwhelming. He felt paralyzed by having to choose one. Anything he wrote would come true. Anything. But, what were the limits? How far could he go? Of course, he needed to take a photo of someone first, but, after that…?
Tim was so lost in thought that he nearly walked straight into someone who had stopped in the hall in front of him. He excused himself, and tried to watch where he was going. It was then that he realized he was heading the same way as Danielle. Of course, they had gym class together! Back when she had been Daniel, Tim would normally see him, now her, in the locker room, a few minutes from now.
“I already have her picture,” Tim reminded himself. He could make another edit to her while they were changing into their gym clothes. Then, he could witness the results when they all entered the gym.
A minute later, Tim took a seat in the locker room and opened the app on his phone again. Danielle’s photo was still there with the same edited caption beneath it. He selected the text again, preparing to make another change to her life.
