Updates: Sickness and Delays

First, I want to share a copy of what I published on DeviantArt today:

“I'm sick. I can't get a test, so I don't know what I have. So far, I've had somewhat mild respiratory symptoms. I've self-quarantined at home and avoided contact with people as much as I can. I have food. Fortunately, I still have my day job, and I won't be losing it soon. Money is not a problem for me right now although I'm aware that it is for a lot of people I know. I haven't written much of anything since last week. I might not write much again until later this week. Help other people. Stay home if you can. Donate money to people in need if you can. Support each other. Love to you all.”

Second, let me say a little about what that means for my work on Patreon. I won’t have this month’s story, “Years for Sale,” published until the end of this week or later, depending how I’m feeling then. Also, it will be only the first chapter of the story, but I can continue it next month if people want more. As for commissions, they will be late as well. I promise to complete every commission that I owe you in the next couple of months. Those of you who have contacted me about commissions, I have not forgotten you.

Finally, I completely understand if you can no longer afford to support me here. You don’t even need to give me an explanation for why you delete your pledge. I understand. As I said above, I am in good shape, financially at least. I do not need your money right now. I appreciate it very much as it gives me encouragement to write more, but you do not need to give it to me. Spend it where you think it will do the most good. As always my stories will eventually be posted on AgeArts and on DeviantArt.

These are scary times, but I hope to provide you with a little escape and entertainment in the months to come. Be safe and take care of each other.
