Behind the scenes writing: Episode 2 (1/4)

Episode 2: Our paths were fated to cross.

It begins in the middle of dialogue taking place between Brandon, Miki and Erika. As they talk about the pink werewolf and Erika can't believe that even her brother is falling for such a silly story now.

He tries to stick to his guns, that his eyes didn't fool him and he knows what he saw. Miki tries to help back him up and explain how a werewolf, let alone a pink one could even be possible, etc.

As their conversation slowly dies down enough, Miki is reminded that she left something that she needs to grab from the diaper training room before classes. This of course sparks Brandon's curiosity, wondering what could take place in a room like that or what purpose it serves for the academy.

Miki takes off to the room ahead of them, as they catch up with her and after getting a brief overlook of the room. They notice Miki in the process of climbing a shelf to reach something and falling, bringing boxes down with her.

They check on her to make sure she's okay and as they lightly put some boxes away, a toy wand sticks out to Brandon. Picking it up, Miki quickly grabs it from his hands in excitement as it becomes clear that she came here for that.

As things die down a bit, Brandon asks Erika about the purpose of this room and the explaining of it kicks in. Why there's certain equipment there like adult sized cribs, changing tables, etc. The mention of diaper exams come into focus and lightly hinted at what the purpose of those exams seem to be and how they are handled.

After a while, the bell rings signalling they'll be late if they don't hurry up and we end things with seeing Miki trying to make a teleportation circle with her wand.

~Writer notes~

-This first 1/4th of episode 2 came out to roughly 2000 word count.

-It's not a very big area seen, not too much was expanded on when it comes to the diaper training room stuff. But with the way that things are laid out with Erika being around, it does add a different feeling to the scene at play. Don't let this 1/4th area confuse you, this episode is looking at being about 15,000+ word count already.

-It was a little hard to expand on how the diaper exams work and the explaining of the diaper training room in general. Mainly because we're seeing some side lined explaining from the characters, compared to say having John explain things out right. We'll see more details explained on the diaper training room and exams during the game, so hopefully what is laid out does help at least with giving a decent idea and build up towards maybe taking part in one of these said exams? <.<

-One thing that was a bit of a challenge with this area so far, was that previously the diaper training room stuff was purely Brandon and Miki. But with some intro before this scene takes place, it felt fitting to have Erika along with them. But because of that it does seem to have an affect on how there isn't that one on one time with Miki. There will still be one on one with her, but hopefully it'll feel like she doesn't get tossed to the sidelines by any means.

-Without trying to really spoil what's to come next, but some mentions early on in episode 2 help set the path for a upcoming scene to be seen in our next behind the scenes writing on episode 2. It might not come to any surprise, but should be very fitting with what's taken place so far from episode 1. :P
