Behind the scenes: Day 19 Section 3 (writing)

Early preview of the writing for day 19 section 3.

The section focuses on all the girls. (Major spoilers ahead!)


The section begins with Brandon coming to terms with how he feels about the academy and mainly about the girls he's met along the way so far.

He must choose very carefully who to pick, as it will lead him into a path of no return from that point forward. In order to unlock choices, it will require quite a lot of affection with a select girl. So some players might find themselves only having 1 choice or 2 at best, but it will be interesting to see if players can manage to pull off having 3 choices at this section to choose from.

In terms of what happens once a choice is made, Brandon will meet on the rooftop with X girl and a lot of details are discussed, brought up, etc. I can't really give a preview of this, as each girl has a very unique outcome compared to each other. Each one has it's own special things mentioned, how things proceed, etc.

To sum up the section if it isn't clear already, this is the pre-route choice to select a girlfriend. There is harem options for those looking to play that way, but there is "pure" relationship options to stick with your one and only. Either way you choose to play will result in a different ending and some events.

-The section is a bit unique and hard to give a rough word count, but roughly it's about 9000 word count in total.

-There is a interesting end to the section that I feel might shock players a little bit? It's nothing too major, honestly I might be making it out as something more than what it really is. But players should know what I'm talking about at the very end of section 3 the last few dialogue lines mentioned.

-I think I've mentioned it before in some posts, but the end of day 19 to me feels as if the game has days 1-19 as arc 1 of a story. With what's to come seen as "arc 2" in the upcoming updates. There will be some new interesting ways that new days are handled without trying to completely change things, but it should be seen as a interesting transition to how the rest of the game plays along.

-One worry is that by the time some players do build up working towards say Heather, they might feel as if they like everything about her so far. Then if they weren't paying attention to subtle hints and more in your face hints during days 1-19, day 19 flat out tells players what their "secret" fetish/kink is, which is added on top of the diaper aspect. They might blame myself or the game overall for not warning players better? <.<

-One thing to mention is that July's update "0.13" it will focus purely on the 6 main girl's 1st parts of their routes. Just to clarify, each 1st part of a girl's route will be roughly 2000-2500 word count. Each route will be unique of course to that character, each character has their unique story to tell and adult situations to be seen mixed in.
