Chapter 1 rework
Added 2019-10-09 07:37:20 +0000 UTCChapter 1 will be receiving a reworking on it's dialogue, some added cg scenes, added choices, along with some other minor things to improve the experience.
That is the plan, but I've also had feedback that chapter 1 feels like it's too set on rails like, in the sense that there isn't any choices or anything going on till the end of chapter 1. So.. I'm reaching out to ask you guys, what you think. Should chapter 1 be okay with some added choices that pop up for stat increases or would it be better to have affection choices as mentioned, along with the choice to play out chapter 1 in 2-3 different branching paths.
Each branching path could be something in the sense of choosing who John assigns to show you around, depending on the girl you choose. She will show you around and introduce you to everyone in their own way and might have some different scenes or dialogue pop up from it. This would give a sense of replay value from that, but let me know what you all think! :) (It's possible depending on how demanding these changes are, not all of it would be fit into build_0.03 fully. But my goal is to have it fully included.)
